Our Help, Part 2
(Based upon Psalm 121)
Three Key Ways God Encourages Us through His Help
1. He will not let your foot be moved;
SECURITY:
We need to know that what we are trusting in is secure. God provides security as we travel through life. He assures us that He leads us, stays with us, never abandons us on the trail, is never overtaken or overcome, is never caught off guard, and is never ambushed or outsmarted by the enemy.
2. He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
WATCHFULNESS:
We need to know someone is looking out for us. God has His eye upon us and He never gets distracted or misses some detail concerning our lives. There is never a moment, day or night, when He fails to see and know everything about us. Nothing sneaks by Him or happens without Him being fully aware of our situation, and He is fully able to deal with it.
3. The LORD is your keeper;
CARE:
We need to know we are cared for. God is the one who keeps us. To keep us means that He will also provide for us. He didn’t bring us into the world to abandon us. God keeps us close to Him—near to His heart, near to side, near to His thoughts, near to His arms. He will not harden His heart toward His children or push us away. Nothing will distract His thoughts, or loosen His hold upon us.
Psalm 62:1
I wait quietly before God for my victory comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken.
Our victory comes from God no matter what we are going through; no matter what the circumstances -we can trust Him for He will never leave or forsake us. I know this from personal experience. He is our God and cares deeply for us. Doris

Oh, I so needed to read this today (and I need reminding constantly). Stuff constantly creeps up on me to make me think otherwise, but I know deep down God is closer than my own breath and will never ever leave me nor push me away.
He is a sure helper even in bad times I faced. He wants to help me to be transformed. I reflect about myself. I could feel Him. Even though my words and my behaviors are not good to the eyes of Him, He never abandons me. Instead, He just waits my transformation. Thanks my Lord to secure, be watchful and care for me. My Lord! You are a real helper for me to make a life journey in this world carrying much joy in my heart. My Father! I will be transformed to please You.
HE never slumbers and keeps watch over us blessing us with HIS continuous Presence. Thank YOU LORD JESUS for THY everlasting LOVE for me.
