We are only strong in God in proportion to our weakness in ourselves. –Fenelon
Blessed be the Lord, whose I am and whom I serve—
I am broken, but He is my wholeness;
I am weak, but He is my strength;
I am fragmented, but He is my completeness;
I am inadequate, but He is my sufficiency;
I am poor, but He is my wealth;
I am empty, but He is my fullness;
I am ineffective, but He is my fruitfulness;
I am nothing, but He has made me His child and heir, has lifted me up, made me new, put a song in my heart, brought an eternal purpose to my life, and has fully accepted me and received me in the Beloved.
So we praise God for the glorious grace He has poured out on us who belong to His dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that He purchased our freedom with the blood of His Son and forgave our sins. He has showered His kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.
