The “Amen” of prayer is saying “yes” to all you asked and believed. It is a word of assurance and confidence. It is a proclamation of agreement with God’s will. It is the expression of a firm trust and an abiding hope. It is saying that all has been given to God, and all is entrusted to God. It is the affirmation that acknowledges that God is in control, that His ways are best, that His timing is perfect, that His plans are wise, that His word is sure, that His judgments are right, and that the final word rests with Him.
Amen, Lord, do all in Your will for me;
Amen, Lord, do all in Your time for me;
Amen, Lord, do all in Your best for me.
Amen, Lord, to Your Majesty—how glorious it is; Amen, Lord, to Your power—how awesome it is; Amen, Lord, to Your holiness—how beautiful it is.
Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. Revelation 7:12 KJV
