10 Ways We Can Respond to God’s Word

1.      Listen and welcome it as it is sown in your life. Luke 8:5-8
2.      Let it find a permanent home in your heart and hide it there. Colossians 3:16, Psalm 119:11
3.      Meditate upon it and delight in it. Psalm 119:148, Psalm 1:2
4.      Confess it to be so. Romans 10:8-10
5.      Feed upon it as bread. Jeremiah 15:16
6.      Obey it. Psalm 119:8-10
7.      Build your life upon it as your foundation. Matthew 7:24
8.      Hold firmly to it as the Word of Life. Philippians 2:16
9.      Speak it into the lives of others. 2 Timothy 4:2
10.   Use it as a spiritual weapon as you stand against the enemy. Hebrews 4:12, Ephesians 6:10-18

This may be similar to #10 but I believe in Praying God’s Word back to Him – this is very powerful. Reminding God of His Promises and faithfulness to us – NOT that He forgets. :)

    Matthew 15:27
She said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.”

The crumbs that fall from the table of Christ are a feast.
Bread of Heaven, feed me ’til I want no more ….

    O dear LORD JESUS,

O dear LORD JESUS, O dear LORD JESUS, just crumbs from YOUR hands would be sufficient for me to last until YOUR second coming to deliver me from this evil world LORD JESUS. Just remember me and feed me THY everlasting WORD, YOU O LORD JESUS and it would be sufficient spiritual manna and water to sustain me till YOUR return O LORD JESUS O LORD JESUS O LORD JESUS.
