7 Good Things…to Set Your Will Upon

Giving your all
So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple. (Luke 14:33)

Preaching the Gospel
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

Finishing your course
But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. (Acts 20:24)

Walking in God’s will
Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. (Colossians 4:12)

Pressing on
Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. (Philippians 3:12)

Living with a single focus
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)

Being
His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ (Matthew 25:21)

“But none of these things move me”…..this is my “right on time” message for this morning! My goal today is to memorize Acts 20:24 as I go, with joy, about the daily tasks, doing the work of my ministry. Thank you for the timely reminder of this verse! Sincerely His, Sarah
