Hi there!
Thank you for the warm welcome to Meet Me in the Meadow. We hope you’ve had a chance to explore the newly designed site and enjoy the new look!
If you missed my post last week, my name is Mandy Butler and I represent DaySpring online and on our Social Media sites. Our team helps Roy behind the scenes here on his blog, and he has allowed me to share with you about the exciting things happening at Meet Me in the Meadow!
Here’s a short breakdown of what’s new here:
1) If you have not yet subscribed to the new blog you can do so either through email or RSS. Find more information on how to do so by clicking here to view my last post with detailed instructions on how to re-subscribe.
2) There are lots of new features on the site to make it more accessible for you! Take a look right above this post title, and you’ll see an option to change the text size, email this post to a friend, or print it out!
3) On the right hand side of the blog, you’ll now find a “Favorites” section. You’ll also be able to see “Related Content” under each blog post. We hope these features can help you navigate to some of Roy’s most inspiring messages.
Even though you’ll see a change to the site, the focus and ministry of Meet Me in the Meadow will remain the same.
Today, we’re excited to give away 10 autographed copies of Roy’s new book, Meet Me in the Meadow! To enter the giveaway, just enter your name and email address into the space provided below. We’ll randomly choose 10 winners and contact them by email next Friday!

I’ll leave you with an excerpt from Meet Me in the Meadow.
He Gives You Peace
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” –John 14:27
If you don’t have peace about what you are doing, stop doing it.
The peace that God gives you is not circumstantial peace. Being in a hammock at the beach on a warm sunny day is not a picture of God’s peace. Remember, the peace in your heart is God’s peace; it’s there because He’s there, not because everything around you is calm and serene.
Have a blessed day,
Mandy Butler
